HAWAIIAN BISTRO THE AUTHENTIC HAWAIIAN FOOD

Yeay! Another authentic hawaiian foods now ready to serve you at the 2nd outlet of “HAWAIIAN BISTRO” at Grand Indonesia 5th level. They just open at 8 August 2015 and success to attracted costumer heart with so many show during their grand opening! There is ukulele show, hula dance performance, and so many more interesting especially the food! For your information, hawaiian food portion was large and when I ask the owner, they said in Hawaii they also ate at the large portion, woah! it must be a good choice when you're really hungry and need some good food!

Starting my lunch with good appertizer to share:

AHI POKE

Fresh Yellowfin tuna marinated with special poke sauce.

MUSUBI (30K)

The ultimate rice block like sushi with Spam wrapped with nori, they said this is perfect hawaiian snack but for me this is perfectly delicious!

KALUA EGG BENEDICT

two eggs poached on toasted English muffin with smoked pulled pork or tasty duck meat, topped with torched Hollandaise sauce

After having a appertizer, next lets grab some main course :

LOCO MOCO (85K)

This is double stacked homemade beef patties topped with sunny side up egg and smothered with their brown gravy served over rice. The brown gravy sauce taste was unique, I can’t tell exacly what it is, but i feel strong garlic taste, creamy texture, and I love it!

BISTRO BENTO (110K)

A complete selection of BBQ beef, fish katsu, SPAM, and chicken katsu served over rice. The portion was huge and I think it enough for 2, it also served with some green vege.

KAMUELA ROAST PORK (75K)

Slow roasted thick slices of pork topped with their brown gravy served over rice. The pork belly was tender and not really fat, perfectly cooked and poured with brown gravy sauce! In the top of the rice, there’is macaroni with cheese sauce.

HULA SPECIALITY BURGER

Stacked of beef patty, mushroom & cheese croquet, melted cheese, sunny side up egg, and red onion. It served with french fries and mayonaise.
